Acai Berry products that are sold on the internet, through retail outlets, and on as seen on TV ads usually do not work because they have very little acai in them. Once you realize that acai berry is a very limited commodity and very expensive ingredient that is imported from Brazil, you can see why very little is added to these so called blends to do any good for your diet.
The 500mg – 1000mg diet pills that are advertised as proprietary blends are loaded up with cheap ingredients to make it look as if the acai is really there. That is hardly the case, as most people will tell your with that take the lack luster products. So is acai a hoax or not? Here is some information to look at to see if what you are taking is really worth the time and money.
Do not do the FREE trials because there is hardly any acai in the diet pill and it is very hard to cancel the membership that pumps out your pills to you every month.
First off when ordering online stay away from web sites that will not show you the label of what is in the ingredients. If you are lucky enough to actually be able to read the label, then look for acai berry pulp that has been freeze dried. There should be no seeds or roots, if there are exit the site as fast as your little finger can click. 1000mg is the normal dosage, most use 500mg cause the smaller cap is easier to get down.
Nutrition chains can be very deceptive, some are selling 30 caps in a bottle at 500mg. Then also 60 caps at 250mg, both of which will last only two weeks because the normal dose is 1000mg! This appears to be cheaper, but in the long run you will be running back after only a couple weeks.
Do not do blends or extracts because some companies put green tea, cleansing agents (to move your bowels) and other worthless filler products to make it look like you are getting more acai berry than you really are.
What is the answer then? Is this acai a hoax or scam or what? If you can find a pure organic acai berry product you are in good company just make sure to avoid free trials.
